Two of the club's county players have had the misfortune to sustain injuries in the past week. Best wishes from all in the club to Sean Quigley for a full and speedy recovery from a serious ankle injury sustained while playing for Fermanagh U21s on Sunday last and also to James Sherry who sustained a serious hand injury in county training.
The U14 game scheduled for Saturday last was postponed at the request of Newtownbutler. Next up for this grade is a home fixture against St. Pat's at 3pm on Saturday 9th March.
The minors had a free weekend and are away to Brookeboro at 12 noon on Sunday 10th March.
The senior players have just launched a Cairde Seamróga Ros Liath 'Thousand Ticket Draw'. Each ticket is enclosed in a sealed envelope and the tickets range in price from 1 pence to £10. The club are running a table quiz on Friday 15th March in the Complex. Your support would be appreciated by encouraging your friends to organise a table of four.

There was no winner of the Cairde Seamróga lotto draw on Sunday night. The numbers drawn were 8, 14 19 and 26. John Maxwell won the seller's prize and the five £10 winners were Kevin, Gary, Ryan and George, c/o Tierney's Main Street, Roslea, A & K McCabe, c/o Packie McCabe, Tom Moyna, Scotstown, John Maxwell, Main Street and Lynda Smyth, Smitborough. Next week's draw will be held in the Village Inn where James Boyle and Ruairí McGuinness are co-ordinators.
Work commenced this week on the first phase of the club's planned infrastructure developments for this year, namely the erection of gates and decorate walling at the entrance to our grounds. It is hoped to have this element completed by the end of March.
Stewards are currently being sought to help out at the annual St. Patrick's day parade which is being co-ordinated jointly by Derrygannon Community Association and the club. Anyone interested in helping out on the day should contact club Chairman Kevin Boyle. A short meeting will be held in the Complex on Friday night 8th March at 9pm to finalise details.
